The Night Shift Workshop: New post series on this blog
This new post category is all about the creations I work on in the quiet hours after sunset. It will more often feature shorter hacks, projects to recreate, or software ideas.
With my studies, various related projects, and overall less time for large projects, I’ve recently found myself more and more often throwing together a project in a single evening.
That’s why there will now be a dedicated format for this, namely the "Night Shift Workshop." In this category, I’ll collect those projects that, unlike earlier ones, don’t take shape over months and years, but are built in just a few hours. From hardware hacks to software adventures and small quality-of-life improvements, I plan to write about these night-shift creations from time to time.
In doing so, I want to place value on providing the best documentation possible for these projects and also making it available in English in the corresponding GitHub repositories to as wide an audience as possible. The projects may well become technically more complex at times, but thanks to the experience from earlier projects, with a bit of luck I can draw on what I’ve already learned.

I’ve already published a first project in this series: Apple HomeKit with the ESP2866

Have fun reading, recreating, and exploring!
