Hello, world!
...if you can read this text, apparently everything is working :)
Ta-da! After two years (!) without my own website, let alone a blog, I finally managed to set one up.
And with that, welcome to my new blog, p3g3. I plan to write here more or less regularly about media-related topics (especially web development and photo/video production), current questions in hardware design, and matters of system administration. But for the moment, those are all just great plans—let's see how much of that I actually manage to put into practice.
main() { printf("Hello, world!"); }
Since this seems to be an unwritten rule, I'll also put a little FAQ right at the beginning:
Q: What's all this supposed to be?
A: I used to have a blog that did pretty well (about 500 unique visitors/month), and back then I mainly wrote about drone-related topics. I enjoyed the writing itself. But the technical foundation of the blog at the time was completely self-developed, and keeping it up to date was a huge effort. That's why I've now decided to use a CMS as the foundation for my fourth website. I explained why I did that in the second post on this blog.
Q: How often will a post appear here?
A: I haven't got the slightest idea either.
Q: Really not?
A: Nope, really not.
Q: In the past, all blog articles were also written in English. Where is the English version of the blog here?
A: At the moment, for time reasons, I can't translate all blog articles into English as well. If there's a lot of demand for it, I can add that soon™.
Q: Cookies?
A: Gladly.
